DJ: The Aux Is Yours
“Take control of the aux and play some tunes! Or suggest a song. 🎧🎶”
DJ hands you the aux, no drink attached. Play something for the room, or if you'd rather not touch anyone's phone, just say what you'd play instead. Either one counts. It's about the only forfeit on the whole 4th Circle that doesn't cost you a sip.
At a real table it splits two ways. Someone grabs the nearest phone and turns it into an audition, flicking through three intros before committing to anything. Or someone freezes under the "well, go on then" stares and just names a song, hands nothing over, forfeit done. Both are completely fine by the rules.
Where it goes wrong: whoever grabs the aux doesn't give it back. One song becomes a set, other people's picks get skipped, and suddenly the game's paused while somebody argues about what track comes next. That's not the forfeit, that's just someone hogging the speaker.
Honest tactic: naming a song is the easier route when you're on the spot, no phone-wrestling, no picking for a room full of different tastes. If you do take the aux, play it, hand it straight back, and let the game move on.
It sits out on the 4th Circle, deep in the board's spiciest ring, so it tends to land right after something that actually cost someone a drink. Small mercy, and everyone at the table knows it.
18+ on the Party side. Every forfeit swaps for a sip or a dare, and the pub-safe Social side skips the booze entirely.
