We're Arnis and Edgar, two mates from Newry. One night at a house party we scribbled some forfeits on paper and pinned them round a dartboard. Throw a dart, do whatever it landed on.
It went off. People we didn't know were still queuing for a go at 2am. By the next morning half of them had messaged asking where they could buy one.
That first board had 45 forfeits. Every party after, we added a few, cut what fell flat, and kept whatever got a reaction. Forty-five turned into 69 that way.
Then the company stalled. Day jobs, funding, life got in the way, and the boards sat in a cupboard for a couple of years. We never stopped playing it at our own parties, though — which is why we're back doing it properly.
