How to play

One board, four games, 69 forfeits. Pick a mode and throw.

Darts are pointy. 18+ for the Party edition. Clear the throw line.

The board

Regulation 18-inch board. Same layout as a normal dartboard, except every wedge is a forfeit instead of a point value. Closer to the middle, the stakes go up.

  • Bullseye— dead centre. Hit it, you're King or Queen. You make the rules until someone else lands here.
  • Outer bullseye — Kings Cup. Down it in one.
  • Four rings working outward — 69 forfeits between them, from a quick drink near the edge to something you'll regret close to the middle.

Every wedge is a decision.

Four ways to play

Same board, different game. Read the mode, agree it with the group, throw.

Dart Up

2+ players

  1. Take turns throwing at the board.
  2. Whatever wedge you hit, you do.
  3. Work your way round the group.
  4. Everyone's thrown? Go again.

Who wins: First to complete five forfeits (the dare, not the drink-instead opt-out) takes it. Or play it as a loop — your table, your call.

Team Up

2 teams

  1. Split into two teams.
  2. Each team throws three darts a round.
  3. Wherever the dart lands, the other team does the forfeit.
  4. The throwing team picks who on the other side does it.
  5. Swap and go again.

Who wins: Whichever team gets the other one drunk first.

Beer Darts

Any number

  1. Everyone throws once. Wherever it lands is your number for the game.
  2. Someone hits your number, you drink.
  3. You hit your own number in an inner ring, that's 2 drinks. Outer ring, 3.
  4. Hit the bullseye, you give out 2 shots.
  5. Hit the outer bullseye, you take one.

Who wins: No winner — it's a running drink count. Play till the board gives up.

Normal (301/501)

2+ players or teams

  1. Everyone starts on 301 or 501.
  2. Three darts a turn, subtract your score.
  3. First to hit exactly zero wins.
  4. House drinking rule: miss the board completely, take a drink. That's the whole rule.

Who wins: First to zero.
