Vortex — spin it, dont spill it

Vortex sounds technical. It's really just a party trick with a beer bottle. Swirl it clockwise, build a little whirlpool inside, and the beer funnels down faster than if you'd just tipped it back. The rule's clear on the physics — you're not skipping the drink, you're speeding it up.

At the table it's rarely smooth on the first go. Most people either swirl too gently and nothing happens, or go too hard and send foam up the neck and over their hand. Someone always claims they've "done this before" and then soaks the beer mat proving otherwise. When it does work, there's a genuine little cheer, because watching a tiny tornado form in a bottle is oddly satisfying.

The trick that actually helps: keep the motion in your wrist, not your whole arm, and start the spin before the bottle's even up near your mouth. Trying to build the vortex mid-drink is how it ends up down your front.

It's early in the 1st Circle, so it turns up often and usually lands before anyone's had enough drinks to actually pull it off well. Worth noting it only really works with a bottle — if all that's going is a can in hand, the printed rule still stands, but the tornado's staying imaginary.
