Law Maker
“Create a rule that everyone must follow. Anyone who breaks your rule must take a drink as a penalty. 📜🥃”
Land here and you're the one making the rules for the rest of the game — literally. Say a house rule out loud, there and then, and it holds until someone calls last orders on it. Break it, forget it, ignore it — that's a drink, no debate, no appeal.
The catch nobody clocks straight away: your own rule binds you too. Ban pointing and you'll be the first one caught pointing at your empty glass. Declare everyone drinks with the wrong hand and you'll fumble your own pint two rounds later. The table gets more mileage out of watching the lawmaker get caught by their own law than almost anything else that happens that night.
The best rules are short and impossible to argue with — no names, no swearing, no phones on the table. The ones that flop are the clever ones, anything needing a ruling, a witness, or a minute of debate. The second a rule needs a court case to enforce, it's dead weight and the table moves on without it.
A bit of etiquette helps too. Announce it properly, loud enough nobody can claim they missed it, and don't quietly shelve your own rule the moment it's inconvenient. That's the whole game.
It sits in the 3rd Circle, one of the board's mid-sized rings — not rare, not constant, just frequent enough that a few of these tend to be stacked up and still live by the time the board's cleared.
18+ on the Party side. Every forfeit swaps for a sip or a dare, and the pub-safe Social side skips the booze entirely.
This wedge lives on the DartUp board with 68 friends. Hit it, do it.
