Mystery Shot — you dont get a vote

Mystery Shot hands your drink over to someone else's judgement. You don't choose what goes in the glass, you don't choose the measure, you just knock it back when it lands in front of you.

At the table this is where trust gets tested. Whoever's mixing gets a look somewhere between delight and menace, while everyone else leans in to watch the ingredients go together. The drinker's only job is to keep a straight face and get it down. Half the fun is the pause before the sip, guessing at what's coming.

It tends to go one of two ways. Either the mixer keeps it fair, a splash of whatever's already on the table, or they treat it as a chance to settle a score from earlier in the round. Good etiquette either way: keep it something a person can actually drink, and if someone's driving or sitting this one out, a splash of something soft still counts as playing along.

There's no official mixer either, just whoever grabs the bottles first, so it might be the same ruthless devil every round or a different one each time. Never knowing who's about to seize their moment is most of the appeal.

Mystery Shot sits in the 1st Circle, one of the wedges closest to the middle of the board. That's prime real estate for a dart to land on, so expect it to turn up early and often, not just once a night.
