Thumb War
“Have a thumb war with someone, loser drinks! 👍⚔️”
Thumb War doesn't ask for much. Find someone across the table, lock hands, agree how many pins you're playing to, and whoever gets pinned first hands their pride over while the winner watches them drink. No prep, no props, no elaborate build-up — just four fingers and a grudge.
Where it actually goes wrong is before a single thumb moves. Half the table wants the full "one, two, three, four, I declare a thumb war" count-in, the other half wants to skip straight to grappling, and that argument alone can outlast the match. Once hands lock, it's usually over in seconds — unless one player's hand dwarfs the other's, in which case it's less a contest and more a formality everyone can see coming from across the table.
The honest move is choosing your opponent by hand size, not by who you'd most enjoy watching lose. Settle the rhyme and the pin count out loud before you grip, so nobody's renegotiating terms mid-thumb. And once you're pinned, let go — holding on past the count turns a five-second laugh into a genuine wrist strain nobody signed up for.
It sits in the 3rd Circle, a ring otherwise stacked with the board's rowdier duels and dares, so Thumb War is the quick, low-stakes one that resets the table before the next wedge asks for something braver.
18+ on the Party side. Every forfeit swaps for a sip or a dare, and the pub-safe Social side skips the booze entirely.
