2nd Circle · wedge 9
Slim Shady
“The thrower chooses a word and says it aloud. Going clockwise, each person must provide a rhyming word. The first one unable to come up with a rhyme takes a drink. 🎶🥤”
Someone picks a word and says it out loud. Then everyone, going round the table, has to fire back something that rhymes. Keep going until a word won't land — that person drinks.
Sounds easy for the first few goes. Then the obvious rhymes run out and you're left arguing whether "sausage" and "porridge" really count, or whether someone's accent is doing a lot of heavy lifting on that last answer. More rhyme disputes get settled by vowels than by anyone actually knowing the rules.
The real skill isn't the rhyming, it's the word you pick as thrower. Go soft with "cat" and the round could run all night. Go for "orange" or "silver" and you've ended someone's evening in under a minute. Choose with intent.
Stuck mid-circle? A stretch rhyme said with total confidence gets waved through more often than it should. Hesitate, though, and the table smells blood.
It's a 2nd Circle wedge — one of twenty on that ring, so it's not a rare novelty, it's a proper regular. Land here once and you'll likely be back for a rematch before the night's out.
18+ on the Party side. Every forfeit swaps for a sip or a dare, and the pub-safe Social side skips the booze entirely.
